El Salvador Cross Project: Please consider buying, making, or donating a small cross (4 inches or smaller) and bringing it to church with you on May 26 for the last phase of the El Buen Pastor cross project. We have two upcoming opportunities for group cross-making: May 19 after church, and May 26 during the Christian Ed hour at 9 am.  Everything you might need to make a beautiful, personalized cross will be made available. For questions, please email Laura Bourdo at

MGP Clothing Drive: The youth of Montrose Grace Place need: hoodies and sweatpants, mesh gym shorts, jeans and shoes, t-shirts and tanks, all in reasonable condition, and NEW, sports bras, feminine panties and masculine boxer briefs. Clothes should not be red or blue, as these are gang colors, and can get our youth in trouble on the street. (We do NOT need: business clothing, used underwear or socks, stained, torn, or stinky clothing, clothes that are very outdated.) You can bring clothing to church on Sundays or Wednesdays. Thank you so much for helping the homeless youth of Montrose!

Montrose Grace Place Dinners: Want to help cook dinners for homeless youth?  Grace Lutheran cooks and serves a meal to the homeless youth of Montrose Grace Place once every two months. We need both cooks and servers. For more information, or the help, contact Todd and Leslie Latham at .

Church Council Meeting: Church Council will meet after service on May 19 at 12pm in the Parlor. Church Council meetings are open to all members.

Movie Night: Join us for friends, food, and fun every Saturday at 7pm. Saturday May 18 features: The Flash (Ep. 15) and Every Mother’s Worst Fear (1998).

In our prayers we remember: Benjamin and Caroline Webster, AJ Galvan; Mr. and Mrs. Mary Lou Leonard; The Family of Bobbie Geiger, Mistelle Deriso, Ben Alley and Family, Norie Aranda, Elissa & Doug Dicker, all those affected by the collapse of the Bangladesh factory; Elsie Degetaire, Renata Jansons, Delfina Martinez, Fernando Blano, James Graham, Thomas Piper, El Buen Pastor Church of El Salvador, Kelly Gavagan, and all those who work and live in the troubled areas of Afghanistan and Iraq.
