A lot is happening now with our call process!  Save the following dates on your calendars and join us...
 April 20 --
a congregational meeting immediately following worship to practice prayerful discernment and to discuss Candidate C in preparation for our vote to call her or not on the following Sunday.

April 27 -- a congregational meeting immediately following worship to vote by paper ballot on whether to call Candidate C.


Film Nite ?In? is this upcoming week ? Friday the 18th at 6:30 pm. The address is at Bob Olsen?s, 12006 Braewick Drive.  Grilled burgers and hotdogs as well as potato salad will be provided, so if you want to bring something, make it snacks or a simple side dish.  No worries.  We?ll be watching Lars and the Real Girl.


The ELCA Human Sexuality Task Force released its draft of the completed Sexuality Statement on Thursday, March 13.  We have until Nov 1 to respond to what some in the GLBT committee see as too little progress.  Please read the report for yourself at


We will be taking up a ?noisy offering? on Sunday, April 27, to be a part of a synod effort to help support Joyful Life LC in The Woodlands  Please save your change (as in the Heifer Project, folding money is welcome, too!) and bring it to share that day.


Appalachian Treasures will return to Grace on Tuesday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m.  This free multi-media presentation is brought to us by the organization Appalachian Voices to bring awareness and action to end the practice of mountain-top removal coal mining.


We?re gearing up for the May Rummage Sale!  Please bring your small donations to the church at your convenience and place them on the stage for sorting.  For large items requiring pickup, make arrangements with Bridget Jensen.  The date for the sale is definitely set for Saturday, May 10.


Readings for next Sunday, April 20 have been changed to help us focus on the discernment we will need in our decisions regarding calling a pastor.: Jeremiah 27:11-14; Psalm 25; 2 Timothy 3:14-17; Luke 11:9-13.
