On Sunday, July 18th, we will acknowledge Laura Bourdo for what she has been and done for Grace Lutheran, both as Parish Administrator and Spiritual Director. She remains a member and Leader at Grace, so we'll also bless her in her continued! In addition to a time of prayer in the service, we invite members and friends to bring cards and notes of appreciation, and treats for a reception after the service. (If you aren't able to bring your cards, please mail them to the church office.) Thank you God for giving us Laura Bourdo!

Pastor Lura is attending the Lutherans Concerned conference in Minneapolis July 7-11. She will be back in the office on Tuesday July 13. In case of pastoral emergency please contact Daniel at 214-668-8438 and he will contact the Pastor.

Montrose Grace Place is searching for volunteers to help clean up on Thursday nights from 9-10:30. No experience or direct contact with the youth required! Contact Anthony at 832-597-2105 for more information.

CCSC Back to School Program provides school supplies and uniforms for students in need. Just $45 can get one student started right this fall. Contributions at any level are appreciated.

Saturday, Nov. 8th, Grace and the Montrose Counseling Center hosted a book signing and workshop by UCC minister Candace Chellew-Hodge, who has written a marvelous book called Bulletproof Faith: A Survival Guide for Gay and Lesbian Christians.

Hyde Park United Civic Association - 7:15 pm on the first Monday of each month.

Course in Miracles - 7 - 9 p.m. Thursday nights in the parlor. Study of the book by the same name by Marianne Williamson.

Grace Goes To ... - Travel with Grace to various venues, including museum exhibits, historic spots, and tours of special interest to our community of faith
